This topic is thrown around quite a bit where I work.  I'm not sure why, I don't think its something that my school is considering.

 

But what do you think about it?  Are school uniforms a good idea?  Do they have any impact on the kids in terms of unifying them, lessening the ability for them to "mark" themselves as gang members, or help curb the problems that stem from various economic backgrounds when kids can't keep up with the Jones' of their class?

 

I went to catholic school and I never minded the uniforms.  I never really gave it any thought to be honest.
